The radiant white teeth are now an insanity among men and women, especially for those who value perfection in every smile. To get snow white teeth in various ways and try to whiten teeth, from traditional to modern. So let's talk about which method works best is it a fact or myth?

Some of the traditional /ancient methods that we often used in our society, such as charcoal, lemon peel, banana peel, turmeric and coconut oil, lemon juice and bicarbonate soda and so on. According to a professional doctor, these ingredients do not actually help to whiten your teeth. But there are some of our people who have tried it and found it effective on their teeth. However, we should know that while some of these ingredients are effective, they can actually damage the health of our gums and tooth enamel.

In addition, there are dumping of teeth whitening products sold by merchants out there which the content is unknown and their impact on consumer health. Keep in mind again, that these products will not have the same effect as getting treatment done by qualified dentist . However, you should also know that dental whitening treatment does not give you a “HOLLYWOOD SMILE”, or in other words perfect white teeth. So you are advised to see a qualified doctor for better assistance.

Another myth that is believed in our community is that scaling or brushing hard helps in pearly white teeth .Is that true or partially made to believe by endorsement companies. Scaling is a procedure to clean and remove the plaque & calculus (stains as well) on the teeth and gums. On the other hand, brushing hard doesn’t do any good instead it damages the enamel part of the teeth and gums. It causes abrasion of the tooth surface.

An important fact to keep in mind is that teeth whitening treatments cannot be performed by unrecognized or uneducated dentists. Examples are made in beauty spas, homes, public areas, open spaces, and even hotels. Teeth Whitening or whitening treatment requires special equipment and requires doctor supervision during the treatment, which are approved by THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH. Therefore, you as a consumer need to be wise in making decisions especially if they affect our body's health.
